Meet The Team

Danette Lynd began her career in the insurance industry in 2010, joining Bowers Insurance Group in 2018. She brings knowledge learned from various roles in the insurance industry, working for an insurance carrier, a large general agency, and as an independent agent. She is licensed and certified to help individuals with Marketplace enrollment, Medicare Supplements, and employers with their employee group benefits.

Danette and her husband Darrin live in Urbandale with their cocker spaniels Quinn and Bodhi. They have two adult children, Sarah and Joshua.

Beth Bowers joined Bowers Digmann Financial in 2016 and serves as Director of Client Services.  In her role, she is dedicated to creating a seamless and exceptional experience for every client, with a strong focus on relationship management and personalized service.  Beth is passionate about building meaningful connections and takes pride in ensuring each client feels valued, supported, and well cared for throughout their financial journey.

Outside of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, camping, and traveling.  She and her husband, Cody, reside in Boone.

Megan Houston joined Bowers Digmann Financial in August 2023. She handles essential daily operations that keep our office running efficiently, focusing on improving internal productivity and maintaining high standards for client engagement. Along with the day to day assistance she provides our office, she is also licensed as a Life Insurance Advisor.

As a resident of Boone, Megan is an active member of the community. She serves with the Boone Rotary Club and is a member of Sacred Heart Church. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Chad, and their two daughters, Quinn and Harper.

Melissa Moorman joined Bowers Digmann Financial in January 2026 as our Client Services Coordinator. In this role, she oversees daily office routines, making sure our workflow runs smoothly so we can provide the best level of service to our clients. Melissa finds great joy in her daily client interactions and is dedicated to creating a pleasant, welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

A resident of Boone, Melissa is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a frequent volunteer within her parish. Outside of the office, she is an avid Iowa State Cyclones fan and stays busy keeping up with her kids’ many activities. She lives in Boone with her husband, Ryan, and their two children, Hendrix and Marley.

Gabe Bowers, CLU®, ChFC®, LUTCF®

With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Gabe Bowers provides comprehensive investment and insurance solutions tailored to his clients' unique needs. Since 2001, Gabe has built a reputation for expertise and integrity, backed by a robust suite of professional designations—including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®)—and full securities licensure (Series 6, 7, 63, and 65).

Gabe’s commitment to excellence extends far beyond the office. A dedicated leader in the Boone community, he actively contributes to local growth and development through his work with the Boone Economic Growth Committee, the Boone Booster Club, and Kiwanis Daybreakers.

When he isn’t helping clients secure their financial futures, Gabe is likely on the sidelines coaching his sons' sports teams, hitting the slopes for a ski trip, or enjoying an active lifestyle with his family. Gabe resides in Boone with his wife, Steph, and their three sons, Cole, Ryan, and Ben.
